The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk woman on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Dollie Jean Holmes, 45, of 310 California Avenue, Keokuk, was arrested on May 8 at 310 California Avenue on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Holmes is charged with manufacture of methamphetamine in excess of five Grams within 1,000 feet of a public park, a class B felony with an enhancement, possession of methamphetamine, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

If convicted, Holmes faces up to 31 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Holmes stems from an investigation into suspicious items found in the 200 block of California Avenue.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office and the Keokuk Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
